Welcome to the official page of Rich & Bennett’s 19th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl! Pub crawl season is unlike any other in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.  What is Pub Crawl Season you ask?  ‘Tis the season where Rich & Bennett paint the town green with their 20,000+ custom event t-shirts & koozies to keep your beverage cold (because that’s important), and 10 Prepay Events all leading ​up to Crawl Day.  Since the pub crawl’s inception in 2001, it has continuously grown in size, and popularity making it the World’s Largest Pub Crawl.  Participants travel to the Queen City from as far away as Ireland, and Brazil to as close as South Carolina, and neighboring towns!  CLICK HERE to check out a video of what to expect!

Why come to a prepay?! Save online fees, skip lines on crawl day and get first dibs at sizes! If you can’t make it for any reason, send a friend to pick yours up. You do not need a photo ID, name, etc to pick up your shirt from a prepay event. You only need payment! Meaning, there is NO LIMIT to the amount of shirts you can buy!

FAQ's

How do I buy a ticket?

There are four ways to purchase your 2020 Pub Crawl tickets **PLEASE NOTE THESE WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON. NO OPTIONS AVAILABLE UNTIL LATE 2020.**

  1. OPTION ONE – Purchase your pub crawl t-shirt at any one of the Prepay Events listed below. Cost is $20! All Prepay Events are 6:00pm-8:00pm with the exception of 3/14.  You are able to purchase as many t-shirts as you would like at a Prepay Event, see below.
  2. OPTION TWO – Purchase your pub crawl t-shirt online! Cost is $25 and pick up at a prepay event (listed above)
  3. OPTION THREE – Order online and get the shirts shipped right to your door!
  4. OPTION FOUR – Show up the day of the event and hope there are still shirts in your size available!

What is check-in, where is check-in, do I have to go to check-in?

Check-in is where you will receive your event koozie and pick up your t-shirt if you haven’t already done so. Check-in will be held at The Pub Crawl Party Lot (300 N. Brevard St.). It will open on Saturday, March 14 from 12:00-3:00pm, and will include food trucks, bars, and a DJ!

*If you have your shirt already and you can’t get to the crawl until after 3, no worries. Your shirt is your ticket so you’re all set to start your crawl once you arrive*

How do I get my itinerary?

The itineraries will go live on the Rich&Bennett APP (itineraries go live the day before the crawl, March 14th, 2020).

**Also, check social media after 3pm for a picture of our map/itinerary!**

What are your top 4 recommendations to make the most of the event?
  1. Pace yourself – the Pub Crawl is a beautiful journey of Uptown Charlotte, not a race.
    Eat, Drink and Be Merry is a legendary saying for a reason. You’ve got the whole day to experience Rich & Bennett’s Pub Crawl in Uptown Charlotte. Have drinks at the participating bars. Enjoy food at one of the many wonderful restaurants participating in the crawl. Take your time, be responsible, drink lots of water, and first and foremost – Have Fun!
  2. Come with your old friends but be prepared to make new ones. Charlotte is a friendly city. So if you’re coming from out of town, be prepared to be taken in by some of the country’s nicest people! Crawlers travel from as close as down the street to half way across the world to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us!
  3. Wearing the Rich & Bennett 19th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl T-shirt is mandatory. However, as long as it is still in tact, you can be creative. Make the outfit your own, but make sure the t-shirt can be recognized by bouncers, or be prepared to pay a $5 cover at each stop.
  4. Do Not Drive!! Call a sober friend. Call one of the cab companies listed on our itinerary. Call UBER or LYFT, the Designated Driving services that gets you home safely and in style. Bribe a pedicab driver or horse and carriage to take you outside the belt loop.  Or arrange a reservation at one of our participating hotels and WALK over at the end of the night.
What is your ticket policy?

If you purchased your t-shirt online:

  1. You may pick it up at ANY of the Prepay Events (See Prepay Tab)
  2. You may pick it up at check-in between 12:00pm-3:00pm on the day of the event.

All unclaimed ticket reservations will be released after 3:00pm on Saturday, March, 14th, 2020.

Please have a valid form of ID as this event is 21+ only.
No refunds will be issued for as this event is rain or shine.

72 Hour Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to the event start time. (Saturday, March 15th, 2020) This event is rain or shine.

How does it work?

I never received a confirmation email?

You may have typed your email address incorrectly.  Not to worry, we can look you up by name, however that line will move a little slower than the people that already have their QR Codes (funny looking square barcode thing).  Our confirmation emails often land in the Spam Folder so check there too.

What time does it start?

You can check-in between 12:00pm-3:00pm on the day of the event. Event check-in will be at Pub Crawl Party Lot (300 N. Brevard St.)

What time does it end?

Technically we hit our last bars from 9:00pm-10:00pm.

How much does it cost?

$20 at Prepay Events
$25 Online through ticket site
$35 Online through store (This one Ships!)
$30 day of (Saturday, March 14th | 12:00-3:00pm)

What methods of payment do you accept?

At any Prepay Event and the day of the pub crawl we accept: Cash (no checks, cash only) and Credit/Debit card.

*PLEASE NOTE there is a service charge per ticket if you pay with a credit/debit card.

If I order online, when can I pick up my t-shirt?

You can pick up your event t-shirt at any one of the Prepay Events or at Check-In on Saturday, March 15th from 12:00-3:00 ONLY.  ALL RESERVATIONS will be released without refund at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 14.  Please have your confirmation email with QR code ready for when you get to the front.  If you are unable to make check-in or a prepay event please see below.

 

Can a friend pick up my T-shirt?

You can have a friend pick up your t-shirt at any of the Prepay Events or the day of. If you are unable to make check-in you can have a friend pick up your shirt for you. You will need their confirmation email with QR Code (preferred and quicker) or print out with confirmation code (Ex: Smith-12345). The person picking up the shirt MUST have your confirmation email with QR code.

What is included?

An event t-shirt that gets you access to all participating bars for free, event koozie, drink specials, and making world history!!!!

What are the specials?

Can you enter/leave a bar/restaurant with an alcoholic beverage open OR closed in your hand?

NO. North Carolina prohibits open containers leaving/entering any bar/restaurant. You may not travel from place to place with an alcoholic beverage. Finish your alcoholic beverage THEN travel to you next destination!!

Do I need a t-shirt to attend?

Technically, no. However, almost all the bars will be charging a cover of $5-$10 all day and you’ll have to pay that at each bar if you do not have a Rich & Bennett T-shirt on! Why not get one, right?

How, When and Where do I sign up?
  • Best Option – Sign up at a prepay event. The earlier you register the less you pay!
  • Second Option – Secure your spot on the crawl by purchasing online. Then bring this confirmation email to redeem your shirt at a PREPAY or DAY OF.
  • Third Option: Order a shirt online and have it shipped to you! This can be done through our online store but Please note: Theres a cut off date of MARCH 1st. After this date, we will no longer be shipping orders.
  • Fourth Option – Show up the day of the event and hope there are still shirts in your size available (MUST COME BEFORE 3PM, AFTER 3PM NO SHIRTS WILL BE GIVEN)!
Can I sign up my friends?

Yes. You can purchase t-shirts as you would like for anyone that is 21+. Staff at Check-In AND all participating bars will be checking IDs the day of the event. Your event t-shirt does not guarantee entry if you are not of age.

How do the shirt sizes run?
  • Women | Sizes Offered: S, M, L, XL
  • Men | Sizes Offered: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL
